Make it yours.
Choose how your device resolves websites.
Install once.
Stay in control.
Replace your old Zem DNS profile first so only the new settings are active.
- Remove the old DNS profile
Settings → General → VPN & Device Management. Open the old Zem profile and tap Remove Profile.
- Download and install
Download in Safari, then open Settings → Profile Downloaded → Install. Your device may ask for its passcode.
- Try your everyday apps
Check RTA, nol, UAE PASS and your bank. If ad-block mode causes trouble, install Everyday compatibility instead, or add the affected domain to exceptions and reinstall.
A few useful things to know.
Will every app work, and will every ad disappear?
No DNS profile can guarantee both. Everyday compatibility avoids AdGuard's filtering lists. Ad-block mode can affect third-party app dependencies, and cannot remove every in-app or video ad. VPNs, network restrictions and the app itself can also affect access.
Why does my iPhone say “Not Signed”?
Profiles generated in your browser are unsigned. A publisher name is not a digital signature. A genuine signed download needs Zem's signing certificate and private key; “Verified” additionally depends on the device trusting the certificate chain. Unsigned does not mean the profile is a VPN or grants access to your banking data.
What changes when I turn on a VPN?
A VPN may supply its own DNS and override this profile. Some banking and government apps reject VPN connections; disconnect the VPN before checking a DNS issue.
How do I turn it off?
Open Settings → General → VPN & Device Management and remove the Zem DNS profile. This restores your network's normal DNS behavior.
